Ami, the repetition of “My truth is love” feels like a devotion the body is being asked to remember until every cell can trust it. The movement through brown skin, ancestors, scars, ache, uncertainty, miracle, ordinary days, flying days, and crawling days gives the poem a full human body, one that blesses every version that once believed she was lacking. The line about walking as love carries the whole piece with such force, turning healing into remembrance rather than arrival. Grateful for the fire and care in this offering, and for the way you let the Temple become something built through breath, devotion, and radical self-recognition.

Everything you write speaks to me at some level. Some days it's baser, animal almost and some days it's like this, spiritual but you are always speaking to a part of me. Thank you for taking on the mantel of Ami.
