All too often we avoid fire, believing it destroys things, but it's actually transformative, powerful stuff, Ami.

Thank you for sharing this. The phrase "came home to herself" was the part that stayed with me. I think so many of us spend years searching for home in other people before realizing it's something we have to find within ourselves first. That felt very human to me.

Thank you. It is exactly the journey I had to take. To remember I am home, it cannot found in another if I cannot find it within myself.💫

Ami, “She kneels as easily as she roars” gives this invocation its living center, holding softness and force within the same reclaimed self. The locked rooms, trembling hands, scars, and breath make coming home feel embodied, earned, and communal across every woman carried within the speaker. Your invitation to bring truth and trembling suggests that intimacy begins when a person can meet their own interior life without abandonment. Grateful for the fire and vulnerability with which you made homecoming feel like a sacred act of self-recognition.

I love all of this, Rev. Thank you so much for your glorious words. Yes, it is when we meet our own interior life with love, presence and patience, that we find intimacy with ourselves. Grateful for you, Rev.💫

The way you transform grief into devotion and fire into home is unforgettable. This feels profoundly alive—a beautiful act of self-remembrance. ❤️‍🔥

The line about discovering you were always the fire and then using that warmth to build a temple rather than a blaze is breathtakingly powerful and profound ✨

Thank you so much, Brandi. I so grateful it resonated with you.💜💫

“The heat of a woman who came home to herself and discovered she had always been the fire.” That line holds the whole piece for me. I also appreciated that the fire here isn't presented as destruction, but as remembrance—a return to something that was never truly lost. It feels less like becoming someone else and more like finally inhabiting your own soul.

Yes, all of this, Antonio. The fire is cleansing, it is remembrance, the burning away of all falsehoods and obstacles, standing between me and my truth. Thank you.💫

I’m a longtime firefighter who has learned that fire does not destroy, it merely transforms. And in fact, fire can and has been used as a tool for millennia before we started approving it as an “enemy.”

Beautiful, I totally agree, fire transforms.🔥
